  • Yiannopoulos, who touts a traditionalist form of Catholicism, has been telling anyone who will listen to him, to “make the Vatican straight again” and “make America homophobic again.”

…what kind of self-hating fuckery is this?

  • That reminds me of a tweet I saw about about the 2016 release of John Hinckley Jr. from the psych hospital. It went something like this:

“JH Jr to be released from custody”

“Well I hope he’s ready to go back, because we need him again.”

  • Wonder what the angle of targeting Jews is here?

…are you seriously asking? I can’t figure out if you’re trolling here. I’m going to go out on a limb and guess it wasn’t breached by a group of geneticists looking to cure Tay-Sachs.

  • The republican long game is to make public education so terrible and underfunded the next step is to abolish it. Then it’s expensive private Christian schools for those that can afford it, which is less and less each year, and sotdrt for the rest, which has very little to no oversight depending on what state you live in. Then straight from “graduation” to for-profit prisons, the military, or wage-slaving to make billionaires richer.

  • This is correct. They actually do care about tax dollars being used to defend lawsuits when they could be used for more conservative things like buying bibles for public schools and funding beauty pageants for tots dressed entirely in ammunition

  • Quite some time ago I remember reading an excerpt of a journal written by either Columbus or one of his shipmates about the people they encountered in NA. He wrote how trusting and easy going they were, how that could be used against them, bend them to his will, enslave them, etc. It really was horrible reading how he viewed the natives as subhuman.
