  • It's a fantastic game and it's currently on sale for the lowest it's been in a long time. Just be aware that it's heavily based on large scale teamwork, and you won't really be able to take advantage of many parts of the game without joining an org. That being said, it's still a great game just to grab a rifle and join the front line.

  • Also basically no replayability because there's zero progression. Since every round starts exactly the same as every other, there's nothing to unlock other than skins, and you have to pay for the battle pass to even unlock those. Meanwhile games like Battlefield or Battlebit or COD have tons of things to unlock that you can use when you want.

  • He's absolutely right; it's a fundamentally Republican feature to allow an extremist minority to control everyone else. The electoral college gives republicans a huge advantage in presidential elections, for example, and now we see that the Freedom Caucus, a very small cadre of right wing extremists, can exert it's will over the entire 435-member Congress. Instead of compromise, a handful of wackos elected a guy who swore to "fight vigorously with the Democrats."

  • I don't think it's that type of "durable." I think they mean you can read from it forever without having to rewrite the data, which currently isn't true of platter and solid state storage. This isn't screen technology, though, it's storage technology, so I'm not sure the comparison is useful.

  • I'm not, I've had a very bad day, and I'm sorry it's come out at you like this. You did nothing wrong, other than have an objectively incorrect opinion (this is a joke).

I personally dislike the new sprint format. It's completely disconnected from the race on Sunday, and it separates the race from the race quali by a whole day and two events. It's like having an entirely different league doing their own quali and race in between the actual quali and race. They might as well replace the sprint with a rugby game and arbitrarily award points afterwards.

And I don't get why everyone hated the original sprint. Having it award points and count as qualifying for the Sunday race meant it mattered more to the drivers and lead to some good battles and passing, but it was short enough that as soon as the field spread out, it was over so it skips the boring part of an actual race where everyone manages tire wear and waits to pull the trigger to pit.
