  • I use Arch btw

  • Yeah, at least it's easier to disable trackers on apple(as I heard. I never used it.

  • It's just a fact that there are things in windows that are just objectively bad. No matter if in Terms of User experience or in terms of privacy.

  • Systemd is a Programm starter which is used for starting your system programms. It made a lot of things much easier, but since there's no competitor people are arguing about it for ethical reasons since it can do literally anything it wants to do. Vulkan is the Linux equivalent do directX on Windows. Also, Cinnamon is bloat and actually a kinda bad design. KDE and gnome have a lot of things that are much better than in Cinnamon. Cinnamon is good for new users who need the "Windows like System" but I personally don't like it at all.

  • Its never enough.

  • Theoretically you're right, but from my experience a lot of cashiers don't care if you're 18 or not. Some do and ask for your ID, but especially in the more rural areas it generally isn't a big problem to buy harder Alkohol. Of course the shop is risking a fine but I haven't heard about any sort of market getting fined for selling Alkohol to minors.

  • Czechia drinks just a little bit more than germans(Beer). On Average Germans drink afaik 114 l/year when Czechia has something like 116 l/year.

  • That's the official age for stronger alcoholics. Most 16 year old already drink the hard stuff.

  • I actually like Libre office very much, since it's a good open source office software.

  • I was surprised that gnome ships with comes with it in default.

  • It's full of Linux nerds too.

I would count that as a good thing.

  • Thanks, using the recent iso filed fixed it.

  • Can anyone give me a full guide on how to get this to work on Linux(Arch btw), since I have absolutely no clue on how to do this stuff.

  • I use Arch btw.

  • Not because "windows bad"

    It is true tbh.

  • Spicy

  • Why must I see such cruel things.

  • 15 seconds with the Web terminal and this Pop up is gone.
