You are trying to sound smarter than you are.

It depends where you are. I live in a country where you are not expected to help. Also many parents activelly try not to leave anything behind for their kids. There is a saying here that goes 'if there is any inheritage left when i die, i must have miscalculated'.

That said, the system does help with any basic needs and healthcare

Maybe ask a more local community instead of people from around the world. The variation is huge within the US but its even bigger among lemmy users.

This will probably only extend to the democratic voters who allegedly cheated. The republican cheaters are just part of the process

Personally i want them to delete my email name and other information so that it is not at all in their systems.

Dude... from your interactions in here, i am beginning to not like you either. If i was a woman that you're talking to, using your outter looks to reject your personality is maybe more gentle than saying you treat people like npcs or that you are annoying.

My guess is, that you keep talking to the wrong women or you try to advance into a relationship too fast

In my experience, both women and men can and often do see past the physical outer and see the personality behind. The appearance is, as you say, the catalyst for initial attraction but if you keep at it, and maybe continue talking with people they should be able to see past their requirement of you not being skinny. If not, they may be using it as an excuse for not really feeling the convection. If they indeed like you as a person but not your body, then you are probably better off without them.

Also remember. No rellationship, is better than being in a bad rellationship. We all need to go through relationship's to get better at being in one but there is no reason to look for one just to have one. It needs to be with the right person and looks play a pretty small part in this, in the long run

I dont think that people are surprised that facebook or google sell the data but more at the amount and detail of not only collected data but also what conclusions are made based on that data.

They will even put you in a political orientation box, based on your online behaviour, even though you dont have one. They will estimate your choices and preferences on any given matter, based on what others with a similar behaviour have

I was personally not ok with that.
