The thing is, that people will start leaving the US. Brain drain will be a serious issue as people with higher education will move to Canada Europe or Asia.

This will have an effect on US demographics and economy for many generations to come and it is not a good thing

Comparison is the thief of joy. If you are happy with what you have, then there is no need to compare with what others get. There is no quarantee that that would make you happier. Maybe even you may be worse off but better paid 🤷
