People who study this as a job will still maintain a carbon benefit is the best way to indirectly shift a country so it doesn't wreck the atmosphere as much; like, there are no great ideas people will accept, but this is a mediocre one that people who can do math will accept.

I've worked in some big data centers. The network wiring, thank god, is labeled on each end with a unique number. They come from the supplier like that, and are tracked for decom just like anything else.

My buddy got one of those. Immediate stopped doing group work and set about rebranding himself as an AI Automation Engineer. He's missing SO MUCH of the basics but sure talks a good schtick and is climbing the ladder so fast. After meetings we kinda wonder whether he really believes all that stuff. It's very worrying.

I'm more worried about the gratuitous comma and what it means for the state of education.

I maintained an open-source app for many years. It leveraged a crypto library but allowed for different algos, or none at all for testing.

Some guy wrote a CVE about "when I disable all crypto it doesn't use crypto". So there's that. It's the only CVE we got before or during my time.

But even we got one.
