  • This is not the first time he was caught with a sock puppet. And I can confuse the names of people a lot and call the wrong name but I never referred to myself when talking about someone else, and I never see or heard about It either. It is not a simple mistake, It is too different cognitive speaking I think.

  • There is an adage that says "Hard cases make bad law". In the end is a case of, what is preferred, let a guilt person go unpunished or punish an innocent person? I personally believe that it is never ok to punish an innocent person. And I think it is not even that extreme when we are talking about capital punishment or be "tough on crime", it is more like, do um prefer to under punish some guilt people or over punish others including some innocents?

  • And of course there is a loop hole for that. If I recall correctly it works like this if you have enough money to have to pay inheritance tax (or it would be a sizeble value) you put it in a trust or company and done, no more tax when your heirs receive the company.

  • If that was true pre-orders wouldn't be a thing, especially after so many half baked releases. And the prices for new releases would not have gone up so much in the last few years.

By and large gamers are not a patience kind. They want the new thing not the old thing.

  • I can see women voting as being polarizing but just stating the facts of women's condition throughout history not so much. But alas I guess in post-truth world that we leave I can see that a substantial share of population can decide to ignore such common information. So I guess it can be polarizing. That is just sad.

  • I did not know that you can't delete comments and had seen the single dot comment before. Today I learned.

In any case no apologies needed, it was nice to revisit the thread and see more knowledgeable people weight in :)

  • Wanna let undeveloped children cause irreversible damage to their body because they had a phase where they liked to cross dress?

This hilarious argument if wasn't just a bad faith argument should be enough for everyone be in favor of puberty blockers, to avoid avoid irreversible change while the person matures and can decide what one wants to do.

  • I am really happy you enjoyed :)

The sad little aliens are pretty relatable too

    Right?

I didn't know Jacques Brel by name but I when to check it out and the first YouTube suggestion was Ne me quittes pas and I recognize it, very sad and very beautiful indeed.

  • There is a bunch of melancholic songs but what that always comes to mind and I enjoy since I was a teenager is this 3 songs by Moby:

  • I watched The Union on Netflix last night. It was not good.

But that is not a diss on original movies or even Netflix movies I was just not in the mood to search too much. A good original Netflix movie that I still think about it regularly was Annihilation, it really left a mark on me.

  • First, don't spend money on it. That is the most important. Second, if possible make something useful of my body, like donating to science. I listened to a podcast about this "cemetery" that is a research facility and they let the bodies decompose in a variety of situations to study the process. Third, don't do any funeral or rituals and that includes keeping a cemetery lapid or stuff like that.

One exception is if someone wants to do something really funny and weird, like the guy that wanted his skull preserved and the rest made into two diamonds that would be fitted to the skull and to be kept like in the living room to judge everyone or something.
