Granted, my comment is subjective to what you watch and how often you watch things, but here's how this cheap ass tight wad did it:
I was spending $117/mo on DirectTV. My family wanted Disney, some movie choices and I wanted Discovery and News. When I cancelled DirectTV I bought:
RCA OTA outdoor antenna $50
Roku Ultimate $90
The ota antenna took the place of my dish, so it fit perfectly and gave me all local channels plus local news.
The roku opened up for us to get Disney+ and SlingTV Orange, costing $48/mo. while saving half the cost on our normal monthly Directtv.
Now, we also subscribe off and on to other subscriptions, binge watch crap and cancel, but I will admit I do pirate stuff from time to time too using a gen1 hacked fire stick.
For most people and even without pirating, doing this is enough to get your TV fix, thus the comment. Still, I'm sure there's people out there that want those 100 channels and there's just no resolve for that situation without spending a lot more.
I've been following Anand and his replacements there at Anandtech since Anand only did early youtube type videos on Yahoo lol. Anand was considered a n00b by Comdex goers and reviewers alike. Back then, competition from the likes of Kyle @ [H]ardOCP, John @ AMDZone, cmdrtaco @ /., TheInquirer (now theregister), Sharky Extreme, Tomshardware and many others I honestly don't remember off the top of my head that really ruled the roost.
Anand made a name for himself in the company of some very tough competition.
Hats off to the man and his team over the years, they had a really great run.
You'll notice many packaged rumps and rounds come with a small bit of oil on them. This is done to starve oxygen from getting on it and slowing down bacteria.
If you cut a chunk off, use a basting brush with some olive oil to cover the surface. it'll last longer. Sprinkling salt also helps, but that alters the taste.
"Applicants must meet requirements set by the Federal National Mortgage Association, or Fannie Mae, including having a taxpayer identification number or social security number to apply for a loan".
If you're undocumented, you can still have a taxpayer ID if you pay any taxes. The govt. would never turn down tax dollars after all and some companies who employ them make them pay taxes.
For the more wealthy undocumented immigrants, they need only do business in the US to get a taxpayer ID. That could be achieved through contract work, a small business, exports from Mexico to the US, a shell corp or anything that may derive taxes that they deal with. That's why so many, Cartels included (who own plenty of businesses here in San Diego) get in with it.
The assistance program requires applicants to have an SSN and Tax payer ID already. It also requires a proof of income in order to qualify for the up to $150,000 down payment. So, this isn't for your typical undocumented immigrant.
That said, I tell you there's an even more nefarious use case for this: Mexican Cartel Members.
They, Cartel Members, already like to have homes across the border here in San Diego either as a place to hide away or as a weekend home. This new law will in fact make that process even easier for them.

Farmers in general vote Red, not because they like Republicans anymore than Democrats, but because they get shit on MORE by Democrats.
Small farmers get shit on by the EPA while the EPA allows larger offenses made by mega farms to go unpunished. Small farms have a reliance on FSA loans and they're just better under Republican administrations because under a Democrat, those loans end up with those same aforementioned mega farms.
As Lyndon Johnson used to say, âYou canât make chicken salad out of chicken shit.â yet that's what Democrats keep trying to do.
Democrats donât stand unequivocally for family farmers, they stand for mega farms, monopoly seeding and outright farming control. Still, Farmers like this one know a turd when they see one.
