  • Oh man I loved the Portal games. I’m assuming sub-27 is good, I’m pretty sure my shortest time is like 4 hours or something

  • Around 5300, which is about 4x larger than my next most played game. Are you playing the survival mode? If not then food shouldn’t be necessary to survive. It can come in handy though in some fights. Food basically acts as a healing potion (though there’s also healing potions, but obviously a little less common than food. Still common though). If you want I can give you some tips on what I like to do on a new playthrough (I can avoid spoilers and omit cheesy early game strats if you want, and only include enough stuff to make the early game a smooth experience)

  • I should really play it then. I absolutely loved the Arkham games

  • All of my favourite games, artists, movies, and anything else I’m interested in all have something that I don’t consider 10/10 so I definitely see what you mean

  • Two of my all-time favourite games. Both are probably top 10

  • I love Dishonored. Never played the Uncharted games but they look fun

  • Good luck! I absolutely loved SotE

  • That’s my most played game by a large margin, I used to be completely obsessed with it for years

  • I doubt it, but you could always make a post here and you’ll get some responses I’m sure. Folks here are very good at answering questions

  • I really enjoyed some of the environments in Crysis 3. Probably not an objectively great game but it stuck with me. I still think about it frequently

  • There’s no way that game is 15 years old, that’s crazy. I never played it myself outside of a couple hours but I had friends who did, and I remember it coming out. I swear that was only a few years ago

  • I wanted to play Witcher 3 but I wanted to play the first two games first, and kind of felt like it was a chore. I only got about 6-8 hours into the first one before giving up. I’ll give it another try one day

  • I have it in my backlog, maybe I’ll check it out then. I played through most of Crysis 3 years ago and had fun but that’s all my experience with it. I don’t remember the game anymore

  • Yeah I’d love to, I’ll try to find some time later today or tomorrow to do a write-up

  • I played the DLC at launch, I actually booked 4 days off work to play it. Totally worth it. Probably my favourite DLC ever

  • I love Elden Ring, it’s one of the very few games to make me break the patient gamers rule (I bought the DLC when it was new)

  • Thank you! I’m quite excited. I’ve only ever had dogs but I’ve been around cats all my life, and the in-laws have cats so my girlfriend is familiar with living with cats. I’m pretty sure every one of my friends either has or had cats, so I’ve gotten lots of advice thankfully

  • What did you think of Crysis? I’ve been meaning to play it

  • I loved Stray. Genuinely one of my favourite first time playthroughs. I played it next to my girlfriend. End of last year I bought a PS5 with my work bonus for a union contract renewal, and that was one of the first games we played. Now we’re going to be getting a pair of cats in a week or so. I hope you enjoy as much as I did

  • +1 for patient gamers too. It’s a great community with great discussion. I don’t think I’ve had a single bad interaction on there
