I just installed NixOS on my laptop. It is very foreign to me coming Debian then Arch. Everyone is saying NixOS is worth it so I am going to give it a solid run. I would suggest NixOS if you have time to learn and Arch if you want more familiarity

Jellyfin can't block media. The connections are direct. Jellyfin db performance is noticeably slower than plex with 500k media items but it can still handle it

2 monitors 144hz, 1 TV 120hz.

Nothing on any monitor can render at higher than 120hz

Play movie on any one screen, other screens can't render anything at higher than 24fps

Wayland works fine

Wayland if you have more that one monitor. X11 can support multiple monitors but it is a disaster.

Rustdesk doesn't work on Wayland and that is a real bummer

I don't care about cookies addon was purchased from a spyware/malware company. Use the fork https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/istilldontcareaboutcookies/

I also use https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cookie-autodelete/ and whitelist domains as needed

I don't blacklist on the ip level but I do use a userscript to blacklist domains from showing up in my search results
