When the drive is mounted noexec it's not possible to run any programs on it. You can also mount any user writable directories noexec so they can't copy the program somewhere else and run it.
It could be 24fps video sped up to 25fps for PAL. If it was 25fps sped up to 30fps, it would be very noticeable and the episodes would be about 3 minutes shorter.
It's been a long time since I pirated over sneakernet. I shared a lot of music with friends that way though. I had an mp3 player with a big hard drive and it had a USB host port, so you could plug in a flash drive and copy files.
I use the free Adguard DNS server with the private DNS function on my phone. It works well enough for me. I don't see any reason to get the paid version. Of course I have uBlock Origin, but the DNS ad blocking helps in apps other than my web browser.
Why not just make solar roofs over things like parking lots and sidewalks? That way it can provide cover and power, you can use off the shelf panels, and they are unlikely to get damaged.
You can do almost anything with a website that you could do with an app. The only reason they are pushing the apps so hard is because they can collect a lot more data than a website can.
