I sure could use an AI that detects and blocks things like AI generated articles and sponsored search results as long as it's open source and runs locally.
With 8GB, you could run any DE without worrying about RAM usage. 2GB DDR2 DIMMs are dirt cheap on ebay, so I would recommend maxing it out while RAM is still readily available. That CPU will still run most modern software at a reasonable speed.
That's pretty impressive, but if they can't figure out how to mass produce them cost effectively, then it's pointless. Most of these battery breakthroughs never make it out of the lab.
I don't use AI for anything. I consider the LLMs pretty useless since they are prone to spewing BS.
I would probably play around with stable diffusion if I had a GPU that would run it at a reasonable speed though.
The stock software will not run in Wine. I would suggest picking hardware that's supported by Piper.
