  • Thanks. I really enjoyed the challenge this time. Glad you liked it.

  • At first I wanted Bing to make some subtle graphical artefact but Bing doesn't understand subtlety. Then I thought of "spirit photography" which should fit the theme. The result wasn't exactly what I expected it to be, but looked quite interesting.

  • I fully understood what they were trying to do when they chased me for 5 minutes straight. I didn't provoke them or anything.

There is no misunderstanding, they are being jerks to us, even if they are a normal part of nature.

  • Want to upvote because science. Want to downvote because Musk.

I guess that's how most of us feel about this post.

  • Please do. I always block lemmy.ml so I don't see anything posted on their instance.

The account I use now is totally defederated from lemmy.ml. I use it by choice.

  • In Japan the series is called Bio Hazard.

  • The droppings can drown people.

  • RE5 for couch co-op. It is actually pretty good as an action game, but lacking the atmosphere of a horror game.

The worst part is the unintentional (?) racism. Or the general insensitivity of handling races.

RE4 is great, but the tank controls are difficult to get back to. I haven't tried the remake yet.

Take a look at phtn.app for example.

  • Remember when Netscape Navigator was the dominant web browser? The early versions of Netscape were light. We had to use Flash Player for interactive media and RealPlayer for video streaming.

I don't know how to feel about your opinion. While I like applications (and websites) to be light and simple, the Netscape kind of integration was a mess. Microsoft used ActiveX which was a security nightmare.

Modern browsers allow feature-rich applications to be built without depending on external services, which provides a seamless experience to users, especially non-technical users.

What I would prefer is a more bare-bone browser, but with add-ons supporting features as needed. I really dislike how Firefox bundles Pocket when it should be an add-on instead.

  • I made one with a similar theme earlier and forgot to post it.

  • Oh, absolutly! I wood never leaf a mistake unattend. It's like leaving your zipper down – you've gotta zip it up before too many peephol notice! So, I'd scurry over to the edit botton faster than a squirel with a nuts.

  • If they only have a support team for Windows, then it makes sense to use Windows only for all their devices. If they deploy a different OS, then they need to either hire a new support team, or train the existing team for the new OS. Either way would be more expensive than the licensing fees.
