  • Most users spend the majority of time reading instead of posting. It makes sense to have prominent buttons for most frequently used controls.

  • I miss the time when shadows actually looked like shadows.

  • A lot of "full length" videos are padded for monetisation purposes. I hate watching some tubers going on and on before actually getting into the main topic.

  • Because the cat can get hurt with the sharp knife positioned like that.

  • Bing Chat provides links to the sources. You can read the original articles to verify.

  • Voyager app has the best implementation of showing the current sort type as an icon which acts as the button for changing the sort type as well.

  • Who owns lemm.ee and why do people choose it over other instances?

  • The article title doesn't spark joy. I knew about her Netflix programme, but I never knew her name until I looked it up.

  • I remember the stack of floppy disks for Windows 95 installation.

  • Better than Windows 11 in many aspects:

    • Runs on 4 MB of RAM
    • Less bloatware
    • Less invasion of privacy
    • Does not require TPM, Secure Boot etc
    • No ads
    • Not forcing you to use Edge, Bing, Cortana, or other random crap
  • Why does the screen look ultra wide? Aren't PS games made for 16:9 aspect ratio?

  • There needs to be large scale protests for citizens to demand protection of their civil rights.

  • People who support the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the CCP's violations of human rights ARE degenerate scum bringing down society.

I am never going to stop whining about their presence.

  • I want music that is reel-y good, or music that has a lot of bass.

  • For me it always defaults to sort by "active" when the app is launched, which is extremely annoying.

  • Username checks out.

East Asia is one of the most genetically diverse regions in the world, and the three major ethnic groups of East Asia, Han Chinese, Japanese and Korean, have distinct genetic makeup and ancestry. They also have different facial features, such as eye shape, nose shape, skin tone, and hair texture, that reflect their genetic variation and environmental adaptation.

According to a recent study based on whole-genome sequence data, Han Chinese, Japanese and Korean populations have diverged from each other about 3000 to 3600 years ago, and have experienced substantial admixture with surrounding populations since then. Another study based on population genomics revealed that East Asian populations have different ancestral origins, population relationships, genetic differentiation, and admixture patterns.

  • We are not ChatGPT, you don't need to phrase your question like that.
