  • Derp. I was thinking about Mutt and just got my wires crossed.

  • Is Lynx POP or IMAP compatable? If so, thats done already.

  • Just use VLC or Plexamp.

  • Me, but because I need chromium for work and refuse to use Chrome. Firefox for everyday browsing.

  • We’re trying, but our government won’t let us.

  • My local school system pays very well to be a bus driver. The issue here isnt pay, it’s the weird split-up day and the fact that kids, by and large, are assholes. No one wants to deal with that, even for a good livable wage.

  • I’ve got the GL-iNet lte router and it works amazingly. It’s the plug in model, not the hotspot one.

  • MariaDB runs like hot garbage with Nextcloud imo. I’ve gotten to the point where I use legit MySQL or PostgreSQL and performance is night and day. I have no idea why Maria acts out with Nextcloud for me, but I’ve gotten tired of troubleshooting it.

  • Honestly this is why I’ve resisted going to seafile. I’ve been using owncloud for a while and it’s been solid, but it’s not my favourite thing in the world.

  • Wouldn't OwnCloud also be bound by the same AGPL on their code, then?

  • My main usecase is saving photos but I don’t want them locked away in a database so SeaFile is out.

  • TIL on Firefox having an adblocker natively. May have to give it another whirl.

  • Because there's nothing better. Not for lack of trying, of course, but because Office is such the juggernaut it's hard to iterate on it while also keeping up with current features.

Note: I'm talking for business/finance, etc work, not home work where LibreOffice and OnlyOffice are perfectly cromulent.

  • How is it not fit for purpose? Legitimate question - as an end user, I've used Teams, Slack and Google's Hangouts/Chat/Business Chat (whatever the fuck they call it now) and they're all functionally the same. Chat, video calls, audio calls, etc - they all work fine. They've all had extension ability and webhooks and everything.

  • It's because you can uninstall Edge now so they don't need the browser choice thing.

  • If you can manage to use a non-Firefox browser, there are other adblocking browsers available for iOS. I use Ecosia, but Brave and even Safari support adblocking extensions now.
