  • Interesting. I saw it but it didn’t interest me. I tried Voyager and Thunder, which I didn’t like. It feels like every app out there tries to recreate Apollo in some way.

Bean looks good. Agreed about the cost. Even Apollo was $10/year and I think $30/lifetime but you had the breadth of Reddit at your fingertips. Lemmy is light on content for now.

  • Funny, I was just browsing the App Store for alternatives. Hated them all. Memmy is still the best imo.

Separately, been holding off on Balder’s because it seems so intimidating but I’m so darn close to giving into the hype.

  • “I’m feeling very, very good about it because I feel like I am defending the rights of all Americans, as I did so many times as a United States attorney,” Giuliani said.

He realizes this is a criminal case, not a rights case, right?

Edit: they edited the story and removed the quote. His original and full answer can be found here..

  • The Vox article does a better job of communicating the findings without the hyperbolic headline. The study wasn’t explicitly designed to look for association. Nonetheless, the data is there.

Neither study does a particularly good job determining causality. The higher quality study was limited in time (3 years) and participant age but perhaps the findings also broadly apply.
