  • I wouldn't really call it friendship. Company is a good word.

  • What even is your motivation to do more than the bare minimum to survive if not to leave it to your children? I would rather take care of my kids future than let some corrupt government do it who will prioritize their children over mine

  • Its sad but its true. Not everyone is bad but a lot of people are, if you don't believe that you are very sheltered.

  • And who will make sure they don't abuse their power? Its basic human nature to be greedy. Who chooses the government? People voting?

  • what if their father left them the garden and they want to sell it to me? what if they want to move somewhere else and they decide to sell me their property?

  • who even makes farms at that point?

  • but if some of my friends dont want to work it they can just sell me the land. And if we produce more food than we need we can sell it so we can buy other things we don't produce. I dont understand why its wrong to own a farm.

  • What if i agree with some of my friends that we will join our yards to make one big field and work it together? We could also ask others for help and pay them for their work, the amount of money we both agree with.

  • It's owned by the Chinese government

  • What if I want to make my own farm?

  • Communism is a bunch of random people climbing on eachothers back and when one gets to the top he is expected to pull the others up. Which is great if he's a good person but most people aren't.

  • How would a society like that work?

  • fair enough

  • Can you say what are the jobs?

  • They did attempt to be communist, but they failed like every other attempt will fail. Greed is basic human nature, and those who have it more than others will find a way to abuse the system, get in charge and ruin it.

  • Oregon?

  • Communism fails every time it is tried because it goes against human nature of constantly comparing yourself to others and trying to improve yourself. You will never do harder work if you can get the same reward for easier work, and you will look for other, less moral ways of getting the bigger reward.

Communism sounds great but it will never work until we have unlimited resources and completely automated labour.

  • you made some commies in the comments really angry lol
