Bazzite gets drivers quickly since it's a rolling release with updates once a week. I'd assume Pop OS might feel better on Nvidia because it hasn't switched to Wayland, yet.

Nvidia isn't a bad experience on Bazzite or other Universal Blue OSs. But AMD is better.

$20 is a steal. Congrats!

I also sometimes release software and 3d models. What's your favorite permissive license? TBH, I didn't know enough about them.

I'm not really into mineralogy, but damn is it fascinating. I just think all of the minerals and gems look so cool.

My dad and I went to the Smithsonian Natural History museum recently and by far our favorite part was the gems and minerals. I could spend hours in that one part of the museum.

Primary: flying powered paragliders.

Secondary: diving head first into Linux after 30ish years of being a Windows user, and also hosting every cool container I can find, even a few of my own.

I have no idea what caused me to watch that show like 15 years ago, but it was great! I was shocked by how funny and generally good it was.

It was never a winnable war. It's something that is completely unenforceable and will always be up to the individual. It would be wise to accept that votes will always be arbitrary and capricious.

The good news is that on Lemmy, they don't matter.

It's funny the biases that crop up in these threads. Another poster says to format the drive and reinstall windows with de-bloating software and that gets upvoted while probably being a more complex process than installing Linux.

I also only brush at night with an electric toothbrush and get the same compliments from my dentist. I also keep plackers at my desk (work from home) and use them regularly. Although I've never told my dentist I only brush at night.

I think one thing that helps is my toothbrush does a pattern at 30 second intervals so I brush for a total of 2 minutes every time hitting each quadrant relatively evenly.

The first time I used this toothbrush, I was floored by how much cleaner my teeth felt.

Honestly, just get a retail unit of some kind. Unless you're just extremely picky, and one doesn't exist that meets your criteria. The devices on the market these days absolutely blow away anything based on a raspberry pi. And they'll be cheaper.

Ages ago I built a couple raspberry pi zero powered Game Boys. Those were fun projects, but not the best hand helds due to boot up times.

My first retail device was an Anbernic M280. I even gifted one to my brother. It was great, but the tiny screen sucked. I still have it, but never use it.

Then I got an RG353P which I love.

I also have a Steam Deck.

I gifted an RG35XX for Christmas last year. I dropped the first one in a parking lot, breaking the screen. So I had to buy a second one to gift. I still have the broken one and plan on putting that inside an arcade stick.

For a long time, the GBA form factor was the best. But I don't think it holds up to current designs.

It'll be great for people who are nostalgic for the GBA.

Personally, I'll pass because I have other handhelds that are fantastic.
