It's the same thing for writing. Use a single emdash and you get accused of using LLMs. It's like, no, I'm literate. I read books. Sorry for paying attention in class..

7% increase of an already small chance in exchange for 1 hotdog/day doesn't sound that bad to me.

I see so much hate from Canadians here so I'm very curious about this. What compels you to come into a bastion of leftism and attack the people here, who are your allies?

Some of mine in no particular order:

• Comma splices.
• Using apostrophes to make abbreviations plural. It's UFOs, not UFO's. This goes for decades, too. It's 1920s, not 1920's.
• Putting punctuation in the wrong place when parentheticals are involved (like this.) (Or like this).
• Same for quotations. Programmers in particular seem averse to putting punctuation on the inside where it usually belongs.
• Mixing up insure, ensure, and assure.
• Using 'that' where 'who' is more appropriate. For example, "People that don't use their blinkers are annoying."

Oh that's a good one. I can feel my blood pressure rising.
