I mean yeah but really no. The political implications are too big to ignore here. Especially given the event being in LA with all the shit going on. Also like as a particularly targeted person in this fascist administration, it really doesn't feel great for people to use fascist iconography to make a stupid joke!

Also like splitgate 2? Really? The game that during this announcement announced a battle royale mode? The most tired shooter mode since hero shooters? And the one that had $145 microtransactions on launch? This is the savior of fps gaming?

Well I can already predict this thread will be full of comments on the price so I'll go ahead and give actual impressions on the game.

It's really good! The free roam mode is maybe a bit more bare bones than I thought it would be but it's still great fun driving around and doing challenges. Some of the challenges are legitimately difficult and some of the special ones have taken me ages to complete. The driving feels great, the new movement mechanics are really fun. Knockout tour is absolutely the star here and a great new mode. The AI is harder this time around which makes racing against them much more fun in my opinion.

Overall I've been having an amazing time. I do think $80 is steep. But that aside, the game is outstanding

I may be misremembering but infinite ammo is like a setting you unlock for guns that you buy with points or something of the sort. I think they are toggle-able on and off.

Edit: I believe there is an option in special settings to turn infinite ammo off

All I gotta say is I am beyond hyped for Donkey Kong Bananza. It looks sooooo gooooodddddd

Yep it's really whack. Sucks too because I have 2 distinct squads. A crew from college and a crew from high school. One on PlayStation and one on PC.... Like I could buy it on both I suppose but that just sucks lol

Yeah I'm lucky enough that I have a squad that's all very into elden ring on the same system to play with. But if you don't have that it sounds like a pretty miserable time. Really hope they add cross play and balance single player more

Ive been going to pax West since 2011 and AAA absolutely had a huge presence there. It was the bulk of the show. Tabletop had a tiny section of the floor

The game key cards are only an option developers can use. Afaik no Nintendo published games are using them. Most games still have the game on the cartridge

I would hope yeah. I do think the first season is pretty outstanding. Like imo it's the best piece of star wars media and I don't think it's particularly close (though I am not a mega star wars fan by any means).

Oh my god that sucksssss. Yeah the first one does help with the sigils I think. Grade 4 does too. I also started getting a bunch of letters delivered to the mail room but they're like basically just solutions to early puzzles I already figured out

I think I only have 2 actually thinking about it. I have the boudoir safe and time release safe from the shelter. I think I know how to open the office safe though. Yes I want to fully drain the reservoir and getting the boiler again had been a pain. I also got the tomb for the first time yesterday and opened that entrance to the basement too. The sanctum things, yeah I know generally what is needed but the clues needed are eluding me. Though I think I found one at the top of the clock tower. The main thing in room 46 is a list of where all the sanctum keys are. There is another puzzle in there involving a map but I haven't figured that out yet.

Also really want to get to classroom 8. I've only been able to make it to 5 so far

Doing well! I got the clue written out that tells you how to solve the safes. Have opened 3 now I think. Also have two of the sanctum keys. I've been continually coat checking the gear wrench so I can someday make the boiler room common.... But I've yet to find it again lol. I'm trying to hook up the pump room so I can drain the reservoir.
