  • Well, let me tell you this.

If we didn't presuppose we had development of internet as we have, we might not be able to communicate

If we didn't presuppose your mankind has developed long enough to have the brain, you might not be alive, at least as a human

This basic presupposition we have is materialism, which is that material reality and how we deal/evolve with it (eg. economy involving natural resources, nature outside of us, our human body, animals, plants, food, wood, stone, iron) comes first as a basis for our survival. Ideas come second, which influence back at materialism.

This materialism is the requirement for us to think of culture, hierarchies, and what not.

  • Because they are old. Ghosts are just the anthropomorphic manifestation of people’s fear of growing old. (et so on)

Damn, that's some psychoanalysis you got there... that is a compelling stance on why it is so

Also, checking on the monsters, it makes sense, I tell you that... though I wonder who Frankenstein, the creator, reps, in this case

  • the bigger issue lies in that most prominent media outlets are owned by the same billionaires that are bankrolling the two parties. No third (or fourth, fifth, etc) will have chance in hell at gaining ground in the current media climate because they will immediately be scrubbed and erased from the narrative.

    I couldn't agree more...

  • Third parties already exist and you can see how viable they are. The FPTP spoiler effect isn’t going away any time soon.

Well... if the issue of slavery was central to the development of the Republican Party, and the working class struggles of Europe led to the creation of Labour and SocDem Parties in Europe

There is a slim chance, that by precedent, one breaking issue could widen up, as to create a new political party that swallows up and destroys one of the moribund parties, through its absorption of its former key constituencies

(though it must take advantage of the power vacuum fully) (emphasis on the term 'slim', to refer to 1%)

Heck, we could follow Canada, and have it so that America relies on multi-partisan coalitions, rather than Dems, Reps, or even both alone

Then, again, Idk Americans, so mindlessly downvote me if ye want...

Nothing in life is ever so permanent...

  • As long as the water bottlers aren’t price gouging, they are providing an emergency supply of water to a region that needs it.

As long as it's emergency... then again, some temporary policies may become permanent, but let's see

    Edit:

I say this, because, if you look into the article, this sort of policy was de facto in Uruguay and Mexico

And it seems not only are they circumstantially restricted to bottled water, but a lot of the water seems to be directed to industries, rather than direct consumers

  • Like the ol' General said / s

We can no longer sit back and allow Communist infiltration, Communist indoctrination, Communist subversion and the international Communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

Fluoridation is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous communist plot we have ever had to face.
