  • the absolute WORST thing I've ever had to clean up was dog vomit that was full of cat shit litter. and I've been a public school custodian for almost a decade. lol

  • it's especially ironic, considering that the founding fathers themselves did not want this. they created a "living document" because they were smart enough to realize that times change and laws should change with it.

unfortunately, their biggest fans today have completely ignored that part.

  • his point is that his income should have increased to reflect inflation, since his taxes did. it's actually obscene that half his check goes to property tax on land he's had forever, and people are talking down about him for it.

  • there have been entire civilizations that didn't rely on taxes and cops, and they managed just fine. this is a Western/colonial mindset.

  • maybe if everyone is telling you the same thing, it's not us that's wrong? food for thought.

  • all due respect, but you are not a news entity and you will never know whether your license was honored, so i really don't see the point. but like i said, you do you

  • that's what i thought. not sure if it is effective, but you do you!

  • I'm 30 and this is the first I've ever heard about this. my southern Baptist homeschool curriculum told me that his teeth were made of wood and it was never something i thought to fact check as an adult.

    gotta love homeschooling 🙄

  • off topic, but what does your signature mean? can you really copyright your comments? I've never seen this before

  • this sucks, I'm sorry you're going through it. i tend to tell people I'm autistic if i feel like i might be misunderstood, hoping that it'll give them more understanding of me. but I'm learning that some people just don't know how to handle that information respectfully.

  • The US will not be a trusted partner for a long time now.

    if ever again.

  • one time years ago i paid for the guy behind me at McDonald's. he then proceeded to follow me all the way home to thank me. i haven't done it again. lpt: if someone does that for you, just fuckin pay it forward so you don't scare the crap out of a 21 year old.

now I'm a school custodian and i go out of my way in little ways, like watering/turning plants in the classrooms, etc. I'm not sure if they notice but it makes me feel good ☺️

  • it's only been 2 months, and already I've lost all my civil rights, my best friend can no longer have health insurance due to Medicaid cuts, and my in laws are just retired and now facing possible ss cuts. i feel like this nightmare will never end. all our lives are turned upside down.

  • thank you, i am! it's the hardest thing I've ever done, but also the best.

  • there's prison slavery happening all over the country. "fun" fact, school districts are encouraged to purchase furniture made by incarcerated people, and can even hire them to do maintenance type jobs (like painting etc).

    shit is already fucked.

  • you're right, even if your delivery rubbed people the wrong way.

i was raised by them, so to that guy's logic i should be just like them. i, however, have a painful level of empathy and the need to know the truth. it only took a couple years in my early 20s to deconstruct my entire upbringing (in a literal cult, isolated and homeschooled, mind you).. in today's world, there is ABSOLUTELY no excuse to be this stupid and bigoted.

being raised among them myself, i too know exactly who these people are. they relish in their ignorance and make it a point of pride to never back down from their beliefs, no matter how logical you point out the issues.

FUCK them. they made my life hell and now i feel like I'm losing my autonomy all over again to these creeps.

  • that's literally why blocking roads in protest is so effective. enough angry calls to the mayor office due to people being late for work etc, is how protesting puts pressure on representatives to actually represent the people.

or did you think that huddling on sidewalks holding signs was supposed to do something?

  • i would believe this if they hadn't literally taken it away. it's about oppression, simple as.
