An American Tale. Watched it a ton in St Vincent, then I moved to America as a child so there was a close feeling to it. (Just to be clear, I was born in Brooklyn, NY, but my family moved out of the states to St Vincent within 2 years. So my earliest memories are not from the US, despite being born here).
It's the best years of their lives. They got to bully people and teachers didn't punish them... it went downhill from there. Not all of course, but the bully types, most likely.
In my 40s and this isn't that daunting. Since I try to keep up with what people who want me dead (right wing) are lying about yo a degree, that feels way more stressful than mostly innocent slang. Dogwhistles are what I get annoyed at having to keep up with.
It can be two things. Most people citing molon labe online like this have a desire to use their guns in self-righteous justification. This guy already has, got away with it, and was celebrated by terrible people. He also got on the outs with the same crowd that loved him by saying he wouldn't vote for Trump over his gun rights record(then quickly tried to take it back when Maga went against him).
He wants his adoring fans back, perhaps not realizing they didn't like him, they just like that he got away with fulfilling a fantasy many of them have: killing people they hate.
Edit: I may be mistakenly looping stuff like Darktide, Helldivers, Monster Hunter, etc into Deathmatch, as those are most of my co-ops aside from survival builders. I also play FFXIV and Elite Dangerous with friends so not hurting as much as others for co-op.
Exactly why I have to take it in bursts. Even Knowledge Fight makes me (usually) less depressed/angry in general (though Alex can really piss me off, but he's also fucking stupid and I can at least laugh at him more often), so BtB is the hardest to consistently listen to for me. Not because it isn't good, but because well, the eponymous bastards earn that title.
Not really, our brain adjusts to weird stimuli pretty quickly. Sitting slightly painfully your body often ignores it until you try to move again and feel the pain then. Also limbs going numb due to blood loss. I once woke up and tried to get up but something heavy was on my left shoulder making it really hard.
It was my left arm, I didn't realize I couldn't feel or move it until I tried to get up, which automatically uses muscles in that arm.
Building on what Lally mentions, when cutting onions for food you're supposed to let them sit a whole so said reactions can occur. About 5m from what I've been old.
Used to? Some of them don't know how to stop. Alex Jones jumped violently on this train, and h3, his crew, and Rodger Stone were up until Kamala became the forerunner claiming either Hillary or "big Mike" would replace Biden. Then would diverge into making more terrible jokes about Michelle Obama for a while before getting back to the point.
When we were kids, my mom bought it to help her poop, figuring we kids wouldn't want a weird pooping drink. She realized her err as we drank it all, and complained kids aren't supposed to like prune juice.
