  • Chakotay once used the TPD as an excuse to not answer a question from Janeway.

    And she just accepted it.

  • The video appears to just be clips from the movie without commentary.

  • “This is an unacceptable violation of the constitution,” said Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, a Washington Democrat and the chair of the Progressive Caucus. “Article 1 requires that military action be authorized by Congress.”

I wish she had a point here, but Congress hasn't actually done that since 1941.

Also, you are in Congress. If anybody can DO something about this, it's YOU. Complaining doesn't count.

  • Federalize the National Guard, use them to arrest state troopers who refuse their lawful orders to disperse.

  • all citizens are legally entitled to the same rights

It's worth pointing out that, in general and throughout history, citizenship is something that separates the privileged from the unprivileged. The in-group from the outsider. The masters and the slaves.

    Name and shame these monsters.

  • There's no such thing as an innocent billionaire.

  • Wait... they got prescriptions for it?

Where are the malpractice suits? Where are the licensing authorities?

  • The closest I can think of--at least as far as multi-generation epics--would be Wilbur Smith novels.

  • That's like saying that he's not going to be humiliated in the race to be the Prime Minister of the UK.

    Technically true, but fundamentally dishonest.

  • Why is he not sitting in a cell for contempt of court?

The judge is setting a bad precedent that is going to be used every single time he tries to hold anyone else in contempt ever again.

  • After an open call for international volunteers, the Ukrainian military attracted nearly 20,000 fighters from around the world. Within weeks, there were already so-called American “Boogaloo Bois” flying out.

The author of this article would really appreciate it if you didn't look into that 20K figure.

  • Live by the sword, die by the sword.

If you have a problem with this situation--and you should--then your argument is with the GOP and their reckless sword waving.
