Immediate things that come to mind are bots on Reddit. Twitter is 70% bot traffic. People interact with them all day every day and don't know.
That quickly spirals into customer service. If you're not talking to a guy with a thick Indian accent, could be a bot at this point.
A lot of professional business services are exploring AI hard...what happens when one tells the business to do something monumentally stupid and said business does it? Is it the people who are training the AI? Is the machine at fault for a hallucination? Is it the poor schmuck at the bottom that pushed the delete button?
It's not cut and dry when you're interacting with a machine any more.
The problem is that's exactly the kind of rhetoric that the Trunp base wants to hear. The question is how racist are the independent voters. We are going to find out how many ignorant bigots COVID took out since 2016.
At least you offered a solution. But it's batshit crazy.
Have every current police officer purged
That's impossible...there's not enough people out there qualified to replace the current police force.
I do like an external review of every discharge of a weapon, but I think the immediate suspension is too much.
The accomplice bit I'm on the fence. In this case, the other officer was in shock I think. He's not going to shoot his partner after the fact, which would be the only reasonable action. He could have arrested him I guess, but that all happened pretty quick)
(Really put yourself in that situation...a guy who you trust with your life pulls his gun, says "I'm going to shoot you in the face, and proceeds to shoot the person in the face...Personally, I'd have total brain lock in complete and utter shock of that tragic fuck up).
IMO...I still like some cops. In my interactions with them 8 of 10 have been professional, INCLUDING having one draw on me once (it's a dumb story, and I fucked up).
I think we CAN reform the shit out of the force in general, but you can't start from a place where "all cops are bad." They aren't.
Unfortunately, that's all we got. There's not a cure all for this one. So, like cancer, cut away the bad parts, apply some chemo, and pray it doesn't come back.
4/5 cops are good people. We don't have an answer for smashing all the bad ones at once.
You know what would stop the massacre in Palestine...a ceasefire. Hamas isn't going to let that happen, and the Palestinian population largely supports them. It's not for the US to fix anymore.
The thing that's going to hurt her maybe is her kind of inconsistent record as a prosecutor. However, that's being spun into progressive before it was cool, so I think she'll be ok there.
The other line of attack that might have some teeth is her dating the San Francisco mayor while he was estranged from his wife (for a decade), but the timeline of her promotions make that kind of a non issue.
The only thing I'm really worried about is how Racist the US is. That might cost us this election, but if that's how we go out, so be it. I'd rather lose with a worthy candidate than lose because we ran the stunt double from Weekend at Bernie's.
That's the game...did enough of them die off after Hilary's run to make a difference.
Kamala at least makes this race exciting again. I can't tell you how ecstatic I am to hear a leader use full complex sentences and not stumble over big words.
That's odd...I've had TSA agents recommend this to get liquids through security.
