  • That makes little sense. Why would blue collar workers support Israel’s genocidal bombardment campaign? It’s not in their interest. The UAW is even calling for a ceasefire.

Also, the Biden administration can claim all day that they are in back room negotiations with Israel. However, those claims ring hollow when they’re simultaneously trying to pass bills in congress that unconditionally give Israel military aid. People see that and naturally lose faith in anything the administration says.

  • I think part of the problem is that US media generally accepts the US state department’s interpretation of Chinese foreign policy. That makes it difficult to interpret China’s aims since it’s buried under pro US bias.

Personally, I think the Chinese government appears relatively predictable if you can parse various global sources including the actual statements China publishes. Granted that’s a bit more difficult since it means accounting for all the biases of each source.

  • The GSI is not a reliable index. The Walk Free initiative that publishes the GSI doesn’t use a consistent methodology for every country and will also uncritically accepts reports of human trafficking from unreliable sources.

For example, their report on China includes unverified claims of harvesting organs from members of the Falun Gong, a right wing cult operating out of the US. The Falun Gong also operates the Epoch Times which is a far right conspiratorial newspaper that has promoted Qanon, antivax propaganda, and claims of election fraud in the 2020 US presidential election. You can not trust their testimony on faith alone and yet that’s what Walk Free did.

  • You don’t have to convince me. Giving and medical care, education, and food to a people under blockade is totally the equivalent of giving bombs and guns to a state that’s actively committing war crimes. If it turns out to be a PIJ rocket, the UN will be directly implicated in a war crime and therefore they aren’t trustworthy. It makes perfect sense if you don’t think about it.

  • When you’re about to share what you’re thankful for, I hope you think about those children being ripped apart limb for limb by a bombing campaign you support. Maybe then you’ll find what little humanity you have left buried beneath all the propaganda and lies.

  • The US and Israel are the only one making strong claims about who is responsible. France and Canada statements were not conclusive and did not “verify” Israel’s supposed evidence like you said. I think I’d rather wait for a third party investigation before I conclude that Israel, the country who’s had killed over 5000 children in little over a month, is free from culpability in this one instance.

  • So then where is the evidence that Hamas attempted genocide in Israel or tried to coup Jordan and Egypt? If this is “just history” then it should be easy to find reliable sources right? Unless of course you were just lying.

  • Hamas did not try to coup Egypt or Jordan nor did they attempt a genocide in Israel. None of what you’re saying is true or even close to being true. There’s not even a way you could bend the truth to fit your narrative. You’re just lying.

  • I’m well aware of the history of Hamas and their relationships with neighboring countries and organizations.

That’s why I know you’re just lying. Back up your claims with sources instead of pretending I don’t know any better.
