Could we build a huge glas dome around a city, with adjustable mirrored / polarised surfaces to block out the heat using electricity to alter the properties of the glass?
I actually felt real sadness when I'd been progressing with a name for several levels and then they get blown up by my own doing. When their name appears in the roll of honour!
Wow Cannon Fodder. I felt so bad for the guys that got wounded and just stayed there suffering.
You can shoot them, and shoot them, and shoot them and their body bounces around!
I forgot simcity 2000 - that is one hell of a classic! hl2 is good until you get to the part where you have to set the turrets up and you just die and die and die. I got it when it was free on the steam weekender a few months back but totally forgot about that part. I've just given up now as the fun has gone from it.
Too busy going nowhere by your own words and also to remember your manners. I'm not easily offended so won't be reporting this post as "omg, person swore at me, get him mods!". You're not the spokesperson of other people, no matter how the community makes you think you are. That's radicalisation.
Don't worry. As a little experiment, I've found time and time again across a whole range of social media sites over years, that having a username that some people could perceive as aggressive will get you blocked / banned faster than you would believe. The people of Lemmy are not as different/open as they think they are!
Unfortunately, when I open groups, I get called out that it should be merged with a sort-of-similar group, and then of course, empty groups are hard to start.
Having to take the effort to block all the politics in the first place mean 90% of people won't do it and will get tied up with giving their asshole to each post rather than perhaps what they wanted to come here for in the first place. I believe that doesn't create an overall diverse community. Sentiment analysis is an old and established form of ai that would be useful here.
It's the exact thing I meant and didn't realise I had to be explicit as I thought this would be common knowledge amongst these vocal self-proclaimed worldly people. It happens with any extremist group, terrorist cells or potential threats to the government and where better to obtain such information than online? It's naive to think the world's governments don't also have a lemmy presence with relevant operations. "oh but we're too smol, they wouldn't bother waaahh" is exactly what such organisations would want the community to think.
lol at this
