  • It can take some abuse, but I wouldn't use metal utensils. Eventually you will damage the coating from all the scratches. I think they are easy to clean, like you said. I've burned food and it comes out with a good soak and a wash.

  • Nice morning for a walk here. Saw someone driving down the street with their food on the roof of the car. Couldn't get their attention though. Maybe they will get lucky, or maybe it's a good day for takeaway?

  • Poor kitty! One of my cats had all her teeth pulled before age two because of stomatitis and cracked fangs (she was a stray). She's going on ten now and is doing great. She eats mostly wet food with tiny kibbles as occasional treats. Hope Scooter has a speedy recovery like she did.

  • I downloaded streetcomplete for OpenStreetMap after seeing it in a thread yesterday. I'm going to walk around tagging bus stop amenities in my neighborhood . It's like city planning pokemon go and it's weirdly satisfying.

  • Good luck with colemak! I was practicing pretty regularly, but fell out of it. I should pick it back up. I got decent at typing regular text. I couldn't get over the hump for writing code though.

Are you using any of the mods for the layout, like the dh swap?

  • If you are located in the US, you might be able to get a good deal at one of the outlets. I got some trivets and a dutch oven a few years ago. The pan has a small dent in the side (works fine, and you don't really see it). https://www.lecreuset.com/outlets.html

  • That's a really nice collection! I love the orange flame color.

My first dutch oven is over 20 years old, and I've picked up a few pieces at the le creuset outlet and thrift stores since then. They are pricey, but mine are really holding up well. I pull out the big pot whenever I make soup or chili.
