  • Funny, during the boycott of Reddit when squabbles was growing, I signed up and created two new communities - one for earbuds and one for vaporents (dry herbal vaporizing).

My earbuds community was quicky approved, but the vaporents group took almost a week before it was approved. It's almost like the site's owner (since back then he had no mods or admin team) was hesitant when it came to something possibly clandestine in nature. I guess drugs aren't cool, but hate speech is?

  • Feinstein isn't the only problem here. In fact the 118th Congress average age is the third oldest since 1789 .

I cannot understand why people continue voting for the same incumbent year after year. Not once have I voted for the a politician, then thought to myself in the next election "they listen to me and deserve my vote again". I refuse to vote twice for any politician unless I actually believe they care about the average person and I'll be honest that has never happened. Maybe I just grew up in the wrong era and didn't get to appreciate these politicians when they were in their prime twenty years ago?

I just don't get it. Are we voting based on a popularity contest of names we recognize on the ballot with a D or R next to their name? How fcking pathetic. Look across the asile, both ways - maybe there's someone decent out there. Unlikely, but maybe they're better than the current guy who's been there for thirty years.

Politicians like diapers should be changed often, and for the same reason.

  • Hopefully the factory can find a good workaround for future revisions of the design. But gotta hand it to Prusa - they quickly respond when something needs be adjusted in the build. I remember the minor upgrades from the MK3s to the MK3s+ which seemed minor to some, but were huge for others (for me I see barely any difference in my farm, but hey I'm glad they made those changes if it increases the lifespan of the rails/bearings, etc).

  • Y'all ready for a wild ride through the most fashion-forward shifter boot experience this side of the Mississippi? Picture this: you're sittin' pretty in your trusty ol' jalopy, gear-shifting like a champion, but somethin's missin', ain't it? That's right, it's the unmistakable touch of Mother Nature herself, wrapped around your shifter like a cozy critter hug. Introducin'... wait for it... the Squirrel Shift Sack!

Now, I reckon y'all might be thinkin', "Why in tarnation would I want a shifter boot made from squirrel fur?" Well, lemme tell ya, it's a revolution in automobile elegance! Just imagine cruisin' down them dusty roads, feelin' that squirrelly softness under your palm, like you're holdin' onto a piece of the wilderness right there in your rig. Ain't nothin' more exhilaratin' than shiftin' gears while a squirrel's cheerin' you on from beyond the grave.

You see, folks, this ain't just any ol' shifter boot – it's a statement. It says, "I'm a pioneer of panache, a trendsetter with a taste for the untamed." And don'tcha worry 'bout them PETA folks – these here squirrels done lived their lives to the fullest, and now they're enhancin' your automotive experience like never before.

Now, I know what y'all are thinkin': "How in blazes do I get my mitts on one of these critter-cozy shifter boots?" Fear not, my friend, 'cause we've got a whole network of squirrel wranglers scourin' the backwoods for the finest furs. We treat them squirrels with respect, givin' 'em the send-off they deserve, honorin' their memory as they ride shotgun in your ride.

So, if y'all wanna make your gear-shiftin' game as smooth as a skunk's backside, you better believe the Squirrel Shift Sack is the way to go. It's quirky, it's cozy, and it's downright country cool. Get ready to show off your squirrel swagger and leave them other drivers in the dust, wishin' they had a piece of that woodland wonder right in their palms. Saddle up, folks – it's time to squirrel up your ride!

  • Crazy how people are still finding new things to cram doom into. I remember when that was a popular thing to do twenty years ago haha

But I'll admit, stuffing it into a keycap is pretty damn impressive, albeit useless haha

  • Because you're not in a cult.

The leader is never wrong. He's an innocent victim of the "eevill democwats" and their perceptual "wich hawnt" against him. So vote for him regardless and set him free. /s

God I felt disgusted typing that haha

It's really sad how rotted their brains have become to the propaganda constantly fed to them through the television.

  • Good to hear some people are happy with their MK4.

I've been seeing so many complaints in the Prusa facebook groups from early adopters.

Personally I'm keeping my printer farm running MK3S printers for now, I'm gonna let everyone continue beta-testing the MK4 for another year or two before I splurge on a few factory assembled machines for the farm.

  • I am a big TLK fan so I opted to get a Keychron K8 - it's got bluetooth, solderless replaceable switches, VIA keymapping, RGB LED lighting etc.

Overall I'm very pleased with the keyboard for the price

  • Just don't subscribe. When netflix pissed me off, I unsubscribed. When Adobe moved to a subscription based platform, I forced myself to learn alternative applications (although I still have a copy of Adobe Creative Suite from 2003 which I am still using on old laptop when needed). When Microsoft started charging a subscription to use "office" apps, I switched to LibreOffice. During Covid when I wasn't using my gym membership I cancelled it and used that $75/month savings to start building a home gym setup (it ain't great, but its better than nothing!)

If something is a subscription, I either find an alternative program/service, or simply don't use it.

  • Yeah sounds like a great idea in theory. But just imagine a bacteria with an heavy appetite for plastics escapes from the laboratory and starts consuming plastics. Imagine how much of a vehicle is plastic, or your clothes, etc. That could get ugly real fast.

  • I don't need student debt relief, it won't affect me. But I am extremely for it - it's called wanting a better life for your fellow human being.

    Compassion - it's not a difficult concept if you're not a narcissistic a$$hole.

And as an added bonus, the money currently going to banks would actually get better distributed to businesses (both big and small) and act as a net gain to our economy. But screw that - we don't want some bank stocks to dip and affect some wealthy pension plans! /s

  • They've become so focused on political "points" and afraid of the other "team" scoring a "point" that they're willing to do anything, regardless of the optics.

Because they don't stop and look at the bigger picture - it's just political capital they can push around or dangle as a carrot in front of voters for future elections.
