My first and so far only iPhone was a 12. Bought it because I really hated the Pixel 4XL and I loved it at the time but I eventually got too pissed off with Apple's restrictive walled garden. I might try again once the EU enforces sideloading but I'm generally happier with Android.
In an ideal world I'd continue to use my self hosted Navidrome setup but acquiring new music and keeping my library organised is time consuming regardless if how much amazing automated software is out there.
I mostly stick to Innertune at the moment and will probably be fully converted once they add support for YouTube Music login.
I recently did this for the second time. Started on FreeNAS, switched to TrueNAS Scale when it released and just switched to Debian. Scale was too reliant on TrueCharts which would break and require a fresh install every couple of months. I should've just started with Debian in the first place.
Infinity is still working at the moment but today I removed it from my home screen and replaced with a Lemmy app. There isn't a community replacement for every subreddit I follow just yet but hopefully Lemmy and other Fediverse services will continue to grow.
I'd possibly argue a full GPU could be detrimental. Maybe best to aim for Steam Deck performance in a home console but with the potential for a GPU installation later on. Obviously being a home console would allow for a more power hungry but performamt APU. Maybe they could attain Series S performance whilst being a much more open platform.
I'd love to see the return of Steam Machines. I loved the concept back in 2014 but Linux gaming absolutely wasn't ready back then. A first party Valve Steam Machine could be a great entry point for many potential new PC gamers.
I thought the idea of Threads using ActivityPub was great and the exact sort of change that Fediverse fans would want? Most people aren't going to use Lemmy, Mastodon, PixelFed, etc but will likely be on board with Threads. Being able to interact with more people without having to use sketchy services sounds like a win to me.
