Considering DOGE and Musk set out to damage as many federal institutions as possible under the guise of "efficiency," I think it could hardly be called a failure.
Guys! You're totally missing the point here! Trump's getting a $400 million dollar plane, so it's absolutely worth it when some stupid poor people lose their jobs and others get sicker and/or die because their medicaid's been cut! He really needs all that money to refit the whole thing, so I'm totally alright with losing my job so he can fly style... Make America great again!!!
Just another reason to stop buying consoles. Imagine building or buying a pc for your OS to just be like, "No, we think you're pirating something. We're going to lock your system and make it entirely unusable. Enjoy your ~$1000 paperweight!"
Just remember, no matter what way they spin this, they chose to ignore national security protocols and went out of their way to use an unsecure messaging app. That's the real story. The witch hunt they're undoubtedly going to go on is a perfect opportunity to redirect the public, save face, and further erode our freedoms.
It's actually not mandatory that a Bible, or any religious text be used for swearing in a president. There's nothing stating that a Jewish president couldn't use the Torah or a Muslim president couldn't use the Koran. We've just only had Christian presidents so far, though not all of them have used bibles for the ceremony.
Separation from church and state only pretty much states that congress can make no laws favoring one religion over another or make any laws prohibiting the practice of one's religion. To prohibit a president from swearing in on a religious text of their choice would, in and of itself, be a first amendment violation. Saying they have to, would also be a violation. The strict separation of church from the state, freedom from religion or the "wall of separation," is something people have argued for, but isn't actually laid out in the constitution.
