Each Lemmy comment (and post) has a field for its language to be set so people can filter out ones they don't speak. Sounds like some bots aren't configured properly

The only way to mitigate this risk is to verify package names manually and never assume a package mentioned in an AI-generated code snippet is real or safe.

Give it time. Continue to contribute here when you can and try to only passively view reddit for those niches. I see the trajectory of this corner of the fediverse (lemmy/mbin/piefed, etc.) and I believe it can only grow. It's come a lomg way since I joined.

I sometimes use — or – when trying to convey something when other punctuation such as a comma do not feel right.

I'll always ensure to be consistent on either side - which is something the BBC didn't do recently. Making me wonder if it was their mistake or mine.

Edit: I tried to find the article but can't. Does anyone know a way to search a user's comments? I know I brought it up at the time.

It's definitely happening. I think they seeded the last time it was rumoured too.

I think I may have the opposite, at least some times. If I think about it too much I'll feel the emotion way to strongly which is a problem itself.

It's because i used to have 3 clocks in my living room, and they all used to tick at different times. I guess from when the battery was connected and it would create all these different rhythms.

Even one clock ticking in a room is enough to drive me mad. I'm not sure if having three would be better or worse. Adding some rhythm to it might help actually.
