  • And here’s 275 words about printers I asked ChatGPT to write so this post ranks in search because Google thinks you have to pad out articles in order to demonstrate “authority,” but I am telling you to just buy whatever Brother laser printer is on sale and never think about printers again.

    Lmfao

  • The dry absurdist humour being taken seriously is real. Too many times lately I've been getting strange looks to what I thought were obviously absurd jokes/opinions. I've probably been spending too much time online

  • Wow, I always thought this was just like a middle school humour thing. Didn't realize it was short lived (that's probably a good thing though lol)

  • Not the guy you replied to but I'm fully WFH and I wouldn't trade it for anything. The amount of social anxiety I used to have working in an office was almost unbearable. I'm not sequestered from society or anything like that, I have a pretty active social life outside of work, but being forced to interact with co-workers in an office when I can do the same job from home just sucks

  • I really like it. Now where is mlmym engagement suite?? e: enhancement lol

  • I don't know when they become old but this is a straight fossil. It feels like my whole life has passed since this meme

  • Holy shit I wanted one of these so bad back when they came out. How's the performance on lineage?

  • If you can convince yourself to just get there it's half the battle. That's what I keep telling myself

  • Really? I have astigmatism and have the opposite experience. Do you know why it's more strain?

  • Cool idea, I'll throw it on the list of clients to check out!

  • especially shitty lagdroids

Thanks for transporting me back to 2013 for a second. I didn't realize anyone was still doing the iPhone vs Android flamewar nonsense lmao

  • By the way, if you are a Linux developer who disagrees with IBM’s actions and you believe in Linux freedom the way we do, we are hiring.

    🤨

  • the ones who can't not push it down you throat how awesome it is to be trans lgbtq and so on

I've never ever seen this and I've only heard it from people doing this "both sides" argument. Where are you seeing this?

  • That's what made /r/anime_titties so great, only non-US or clearly world news allowed

  • It's like when youtube recommends a 9 year old video and all the comments are from the last month lol

  • I kept it for the same reason, but even that appears to not be working anymore

  • yeah but it feels pretty callous to just have a machine sending her the words of affirmation and not you. I read your comment above, I have adhd and am easily distracted aswell. My girlfriend had a similar problem with me not being as available/talkative when we're not in person, and she really appreciated it when I put the effort to text and call her more. My suggestion would be maybe to set a timer to remind yourself to text her instead2 of automating the whole thing. If the other apps on the phone are too distracting, maybe you can limit their screentime or even remove them, just make it harder to get to them somehow.

  • You could probably do this with tasker. I would like to say though, this sounds like a horrible idea. If your wife wants words of affirmation, automating that sounds like the exact opposite of what she's looking for

  • His interest seems to be more in tildes. He said he's on lemmy too though, at /c/redditwasfun
