If you're a bigger person like me, look at the Kalkhoff range. I have an older model that I've had for 7-8 years. Gets ~90km on the lowest assist. They are very good bikes. On the expensive side though. Definitely look for a mid-drive one, they are a lot smoother to ride, and the extra weight is centralised so it feels like a regular bike.
Aaah, I'm probably mixing memories then. I didn't ever go to Livid, but I did many a BDO. I think the show in thinking of was an under-age gig, or at least alcohol free. Was definitely (I'm almost positive) at the showgrounds because I remember knowing my way around on account of going to BDO. Definitely saw Shihad there, thought Something For Kate and Powderfinger too, bit they might have been at the BDO. Custard too, now I'm thinking about it
Anyone here remember the music festival that used to run back in the late 90s/early 00s, which was just independent Australian/NZ acts (I think)..? A Something For Kate song just came on and it triggered a whole lost memory of going to the showgrounds back in the day to see Shihad, Powderfinger, Something For Kate etc...wasn't early BDO, was a smaller indie type thing...
It's a bpm based playlist I found on Spotify. Suits my cadence. Every now and then theres an extra motivating song to push a bit up the hill or something, eg. Panama or Rebel Yell etc....
20 odd years ago I remember listening to a country show on RRR on Saturday mornings. This has been a decent substitute - https://somafm.com/bootliquor/
Anyone here sleep with noise cancelling earbuds in? Looking to cancel out some snoring next to me. I'm a side sleeper though, so not sure how that'll go with earbuds in. Currently do not own any so can't really test it....
Sees person wearing Neil Young & Crazy Horse tour shirt...."Hey that's a great shirt, I went to that concert. Do you like Neil Young and Crazy horse, are you going to see them this time?". I don't know the band I got it in a vintage shop
Yep, over did it
