  • I have it set to follow system, is that what you're thinking of? Then if your device settings are set to switch between light and dark, the apps will follow suit

Not saying you're wrong about it being in the old app, if I was maintaining it though I guess I'd probably simplify this feature as above, one less thing to worry about then

  • Dunno about slowly, more like nowhere for ages then the huge Silverstone upgrade. The most recent upgrade seems to be keeping them in position, at least on these circuits.

Cautiously optimistic for next season though, we could see a RB, Merc, McLaren fight, with the odd Ferrari pop up. Or maybe Aston will take another step. They'd need another driver though.

Lawson to RB to replace Checo I'd be up for that

  • 100% agree. Baffling that he's not already confirmed tbh. His f2 season was electric, not Piastri quality but way up there and exciting on track. He's like Iwasa on this season, flashes of insane brilliance and he's already shown this on his two outings on f1

As much as I wanted De Vries to excel, I thought Lawson should be there from day one, even in place of Ricciardo

  • His junior career was extremely impressive. Sergeant is demonstrably no slouch.

The only person we can really compare him to this season is Piastri. Piastri has beaten Sergeant once, by a mere 4 points in Formula 3. He is also in a better car, at a team with more resources.

Its bananas to think that newcomers to the grid are going to perform immediately. Personally I can easily see Piastri contending for WDC in the future, the jury is out on Sergeant for me.

I'd like to see him do the right things to get a transfer. It seems unrealistic to expect a rookie to bring a backmarker team forwards. Haas' driver line up seems much more realistic to me.

  • Piastri with another solid race which for me, proves his quality. He has been on the pace immediately when given the upgrades and I have no doubt he can take a win either this season or next (assuming McLaren keep up the car development)
