Banking, entertainment services, e-commerce used to be easily accessible from a browser but now are gradually phased out in favor of a native apps, why?

  • I've been playing a bit of Diablo IV and it has been pretty fun. It's the first game I've played in quite a while with my brother. He has quite a bit more time in the game than I do so it has been nice having him show me around the game and how everything works. We had a good laugh when I was level 23 and didn't realize that the potions could be upgraded. I was wondering why they seemed so weak. After he told me how to get those upgraded I have been dying a lot less. I like how much easier it is to compare items compared to Diablo II, and not having to keep a stash of town portal scrolls in my inventory is a nice change.

  • Nice job! I have had the same unit for about 3 years now and I have been very happy with it. The amount of electricity it requires compared to a convention is a heck of a lot less. It also has the nice side effect of cooling and dehumidifying my garage during the summer time.

  • I used to have a watch with PAI built in and it was a great way to see how I've been doing over the last week. My current watch doesn't support it and I almost didn't get it because of that.

  • I like that liftoff has a desktop application. I use it a fair amount and it has a pretty good experience. You can tell it's optimized for mobile but it still does well with a mouse.

  • It's incredible how much we have been lied to about the dangers of marijuana. Just recently, a family member was talking about how dangerous "marijuana poisoning" is. I still don't know what that is and I love my weed. It amazes me how much misinformation is still out there.

  • That definitely happened more than once in a couple of the schools I went to. One teacher didn't care and let a bunch of kids play games in the lab during class. I don't think a lot of them did so well on their grades in that class.
