We’d have to have more information. If a drug is “in your system” that’s not quite the same as being high on the drug.

Cocaine stays in your system like three days I believe. He could have done cocaine three days before no longer been high.

Marijuana stays in your system up to 90 days. He could have smoked a joint 3 months before the incident and still had marijuana “in his system”.

This is a tragic incident, I’m just pointing this out. I don’t know what state of mind the pilot was in but there is a big difference between having a drug in your system and being high on said drug.

I think I am on shitjustworks.. i don’t know how big my instance is I just chose it because it has a cool name.

It has gone down a few times and at first my reaction was to go to is it down dot com to see if the problem was with my app… but then I had the realization that ohhhh, it’s just my home server is down… I thought about making a separate account on another instance but instead just decided to do something else with those few minutes I would have spent here….

No big deal…. It’s happened a few times in the couple months I’ve been here, but it always works eventually… I really like this platform, and the philosophy behind it, but I’m not knowledgeable enough to understand all the inner workings and how the instances work together, but I don’t feel like I need to.

But I can see how people who understand it even less than I do might get frustrated and so that is going to be a limiting factor with new growth here I would assume…

As someone who voted for Obama (I have since made a pledge to myself to never vote for a self identified neoliberal for president) , j also find it disturbing that this same rich dude paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Obama campaign and was also awarded an ambassadorship for our country (the us). The issue here is money in politics we need to overturn citizens United and stop legal bribery in this country. But Clarence Thomas is an obvious example of scum collected and exposed from the bottom of the pond.
