  • True, I'm no data hoarder. Just seems like it's a very small niche that this fits into. Never had a hard drive fail on me, but I'll give it a couple more decades lol

  • At this point who doesn't have a conflict of interest in the roles this administration gave them?

  • That was implied, although I almost included it... Ladies we do not read minds and we usually take you literally. If you tell me you want flowers, you're getting flowers.

  • A Sith Lord in control of the senate you say? We must call the council at once and write a formal letter to Emperor Palpatine to tell him his actions are against the founding principles of this republic! And we'll make sure to comply with his every demand, but be strongly against the morality of this whole situation.

  • I have like 3 pictures I actually care about anymore I'd be more than willing to delete the rest. My parents have always taken like at least a dozen pictures every time we "do something" and I always have to ask... Why drop everything you are doing for a picture that you will, in all likelihood, never look at again. I'd much rather just enjoy the moment tbh

  • 500gb for ~100 US dollars is not bad* (just saw it is AU). I don't think I'd ever need something quite so long lasting and will we even watch or interact with media the same way in like 40 years? Movies and screens may get phased out for holo or something no ones even dreamed of yet.

  • She needs a new man. Ladies find yourself a man who either

    1. knows what you want or
    2. asks you what you want and listens

    You deserve better.

  • This is why weed was invented by the ancient people of Kush.

  • Sorry I think I dropped the sarcasm a little too subtlety lol

  • This seems unlikely, I believe they were going for a salt shaker into the mouth

  • They better be the most reliable, they're like 10x the price of a normal CPU

  • Meh, the port will probably be fine. I'd be concerned the hard bend on the wire would break the cable itself.

  • The entire planet isn't smothered in clouds, but your location could be. This was just a real world example of the air temperature being directly affected by a lack of sunlight. Edit: you know you might be right but I don't wanna admit it. I was thinking in Fahrenheit. Although where I am the temps are already cold, so I might be a bit biased from that as well

  • Much better. Like there are literally child laborers and slaves throughout the chocolate industry. And that's just one industry, there are millions of slaves still around unfortunately

  • The article is stupid imo. The earth cools down more than 1°F an hour when clouds appear, the sun disappearing is gonna cool down a bit more than a cloudy day. This is why I don't get my weather forecasts from physicists. At least, that's what seems right to me. We lose a ton of heat every night why wouldn't losing the sun be similar lol

  • Modern slavery is modern slave labor. This is poverty wages which is almost as bad, but slightly distinct

  • Dig three feet down and tell me how warm the earth is....

  • So... Solar system you get, but if I refer to it as a "system" now you get confused? I was struggling with a term that wasn't just "all of the planets that used to be part of the solar system but since the sun is gone there is no longer a system"
