I spent years of my life and a ton of money on a 150 gallon salt water tank. I had a thriving coral population and a lots of cool little fish and crustaceans. The metal-halide hood alone cost $2,500. I moved houses and just couldn't bring myself to set it back up.

Personally, I do 2 separate UEFI boot partitions. Grub is the default which can select the windows boot partition. Then Windows can do whatever it wants to it's own boot partition.

Lineage OS user here, my banking app got an update a while ago that stopped trusting my finger scanner because I'm rooted. Luckily it still allows passwords or else that would be a deal breaker.
*Edit, now that I think about it I'm not even rooted, just an unlocked boot loader.
Funny enough I had a very similar situation happen to me and a group of friends in Rhodes Greece, except at the end of the meal the bill came and it was exorbitantly expensive. We realized it was a scam but we were drunk and the food was really good so we payed and left.
That's one of my favorite things with Linux updates. Windows generally doesn't tell you post update install size but I doubt they're making the OS smaller.
Not gonna lie, I specifically bought an AMD GPU laptop so I could run a Wayland WM. After trying and failing with my old nvidia optane razor laptop I gave up on Nvidia. I still use it on my desktop tho. It's so much smoother than X-11.
