Went and grabbed a weeks' worth of dinners for what ends up being like $7 a meal at the South Melbourne Market and that's awesome BUT it was getting a little late to cook something so I grabbed a crispy chicken Caesar wrap from maccas on the way home. I mention this because I asked them to add a bit of that new spicy fiesta sauce to it too - which they wouldn't do for some reason - but sold me a little tub of it so I can add it myself. Which I did. And it was incredible.
I might email them now and suggest strongly that they add it to their lineup and I am not the kind of person who does that.
I trimmed my beard, shaved, gave myself a haircut, showered and was seconds away from booking a room up on the border for the night but then all of my motivation just fell away. I might just stay home and save my money, then go for a drive and find some mountains and start a new audiobook tomorrow just for a day out.
Just got the message that I'm good to book an appointment with the MC doctor, which I've set for Monday morning (soonest available). I guess that means I'm borked enough to be eligible.
I've booked a 3 night comedy cruise out of Melbourne in November. It'll be a tram to get down to the ship and home and the cruise credits covers the entire balcony room + (soft)drinks package, WiFi and $100 on board credit. Free holiday! Just any gambling I do to pay for really.
It also leaves after work on a Friday and gets back before work on the Monday so I don't even need to take any annual leave!

When would be the best time to get COVID? That's the question I am currently asking myself because P&O Cruises just sent me through notification that I have $1800 in cruise credits to use before the end of the year.
I don't particularly want to go on another cruise but $1800... maybe I'll just do one of those quick ones out of Melbourne down to Tassie or something just to get out of the apartment.

What would be interesting is if I get it prescribed and then move to my parents place because dad is very anti-cannabis. I think I'd just have to have a firm talk with him about it being medicinal and prescribed.
Just loaded up my phone with a bunch of new audiobooks which I obtained completely legally and would never dream of getting from torrents. Looking forward to getting stuck into a new story.
I put in a consult online on Wednesday which I'm a bit anxious about. I doubt they'll allow me because I haven't tried prescription anything though. Still waiting for them to get back to me "Your consult is complete. We're currently reviewing your responses. You will receive an email once your treatment plan has been created."
Was wide awake until almost 4am and completely forgot an electrician was coming to fix my flickering downlights at 8:30am. He arrived 3 minutes early (my alarm goes off at 8:30am) and it scared the shit out of me. My door buzzer thing (it's more of a ringing than a buzz) very rarely goes off these days so I spent a good 20 seconds wondering what the hell the sound was.
All sorted now though. No more strobe party lights in my kitchen.
How are you going to get a SIM bought and delivered in time?? You need a concierge/assistant. Travel insurance is a 15 minute job and packing (assuming you've got your clothes clean) is maybe 30 minutes so no stress there. Cutting it real fine for the SIM card though.
I used simcorner on my last trip and they were excellent.
If you want to combine what you've learned but make it a bit more modern/fancier, have a look at FSLogix Profile Containers. It's just setting up file shares and creating a GPO but has one extra step which is installing an agent.
Probably an hour maximum and you get to add another skill to your arsenal.

I've been working inside enterprise level active directory for a long long time and if you get the basics of GPO, filtering, policy ordering that's a great start. GPO loopback is pretty important to know about in complex environments too.

I feel like something in the mountains would be nice but only if I can find a good book to start on because I'm currently between books. I'm not sure if I loved the first Discworld book I read.
