The need for bombing with nukes is a made up history. Japan was surrendering with just one condition that wasn't a big deal and could be discussed in the peace treaty. But the bombs, specially the Nagasaki one, was not meant for the Japanese to surrender but as a show off to the USSR.
Because, believe it or not, [part of] the US saw the USSR as an enemy even during the war.
It has one mission: to make the human target that is the greatest foe of the machines to show up and kill him/her. And the way is hurting humans in that particular way.
I had a teacher that the first day told us "my ratio of approved students is 99% and I'm not gonna lower it because of you". A great teacher.
The next year the one that gave us the same thing told us "how many of you didn't pass last year?". Nobody answered because everyone passed. "This year won't be the same" was his reply. A SHITTY teacher. The worst one I've had in all my live.
Why stop at 100 years? Imagine 150 years. No US - Spain war, no US intervention in WW1. Maybe that would have meant no WW2.
And isolationism includes not helping Nazis and their allies like Texaco, Ford or IBM did?
