Now imagine a civil war begins in the US. Both sides get too weak. And then the Cherokee, Apache, ... receive all the military help they need from, let's say, China. And they start killing "every non Nation person" because "that was our land". Would you say that's right and that all and every white/black/Asian person deserve it?

I'll buy there's no evil plan. But the outcome is the same: Meta destroys the Fediverse, willingly or not.

They enter the Fediverse, use ActivityPub, begin adding some "extensions" to it and suddenly everyone has to play cat and mouse with the new extensions because Meta has 90% of the users. Then, some time later, Meta says they don't see the need to be federated anymore and pull the plug, disconnecting everyone in the Fediverse from 90% (or more) of the users and from the communities that live on the Meta side.

Just look at what happened with Jabber and Google Talk.

Meta wants to kill the Fediverse from inside while it's not a big rival. That's the only reason Meta want's to "become friend" to the Fediverse. The same that GAFAM has been doing for decades (if you can't buy it, destroy it).
