  • I don't think that this will mean that all non-dairy creamers would have to be given for free.

It would only mean that one non-dairy creamer would be. Oat, almond, soy milk are probably the more expensive types of non-dairy creamers.

  • I think you're missing the big picture.

Just because one can choose not to go to Starbucks doesn't relieve Starbucks of the requirement to provide equal access and provide equitable services to those with a disability or medical limitation.

Just because you are lactose intolerant and can handle things with with some milk products doesn't mean that everyone with lactose intolerance can. There can be those that have much more severe reactions.

There are also those that truly cannot have diary at all. People have full blown milk allergies where if they ingest diary they could have anaphylaxis shock.

Making accomodations for equitable products/services for a medical disability cannot cost extra to the disabled person.

I don't think it means that all non-dairy creamers necessarily need to be available for free. It only means that one does. Whatever non-dairy creamer is likely the cheapest.

  • "under blind listening conditions as well as sighted listening."

I decided to find this article and it's more wild than I expected. I often listen with my eyes. It very much influences the quality of the audio I listen to.

  • God forbid someone finds cars fun, right?

You could probably design and build an ev off-road vehicle. It would likely suck as the batteries are super heavy, but someone could.

As for land, it's amazing how a lot of places designate ohv (off highway vehicle) trails and put time and money to maintain them so they don't completely ruin the area.

  • Obligatory raid isn't backup.

While yes, this will protect you from a disk dieing if you monitor it enough to notice. But it doesn't save you from a nas dieing. Maybe you could rebuild the array with similar hardware but that's not a sure thing.

  • Let's ignore all the bias in IQ tests and how they are not a valid measure of intelligence.

This is based on the premise that these people aren't smart. The scary thing to realize is that they are very smart people. They are using that intelligence in a concerted effort to advance their agenda and power.

  • Your vote, and those of the minority party in your area, give hope. They give those who are nervous to disagree proof that people can stand by their morals and disagree with the majority. You show people in that community who align with you that they are not alone. That there are others who think like them.

Keep voting, even if you lose. Because it lets everyone know that your political opinions and desires aren't gone.

  • Because they have changed the car controls radically. It's not intuitive for many people.

The car relies on systems which add undue complexity and area for failure in unforeseen circumstances. Solenoid doors have been around since the 50s, but there are reasons they were never common until Tesla decided to use them.

I'm not saying the lady is blameless and it's all the cars fault. But design decisions on the Tesla do makes them more difficult to use/escape from in an emergency situation.

  • I'm still rocking a super old monoprice mini select. It's been so heavily modifier and repaired at this point I probably should have gotten a better one. Small print area, no magnetic build plate, no auto leveling. It feels like a geo metro with manual everything.

  • No, but it means there can be a discussion where each side is able to communicate effectively.

Words have meaning. If we are to have a stark discussion, at the beginning we need to come to agreement on what words mean so that either side does not misunderstand each other.

  • It has parity disks, which always need to be the largest disks in your array. You can run with either a single one double parity disk.

It seems to work well, as that's how I've had to replace a dozen disks in the last year upgrading from 8tb disks to 18 or 22tb disks.
