  • A records are usually fine for web dev, and some cname records. But if you move DNS to different name servers it doesn't take the MX, srv, or txt with you.

Name servers are where all the DNS records are hosted. It tells every computer who is the authority on the information. If you change those without moving all the DNS records to the new location. All the old ones are no longer used at all. Even if they still exist on the old system.

Also spf records might also reference the websites a record to allow the website to send email without getting flagged as spam. If the site moves, but emails are still sent from the old IP address for a myriad of reasons it would break email. Like if they used some provider that hosted the site and emails on the same system, which used to be more common than it is today.

  • Because so few understand it and so many things use it.

If you read a guide on setting up a website. They might have you change a DNS record and you might not realize it's doing something else. Web developers frequently want to make changes to DNS and will change the name servers away to theirs but not migrate any of the records for anything besides the website. They'll break EVERYTHING but hey, the website will load.

If you read a guide on connecting some service like hubspot. They will have you add spf records. But those need to be included with the existing ones and not just replacing what's already there. Mess it up and every single email you send will get sent to spam folders.

  • I like Waterloo for their flavors, but very little hits that super carbonation level that topo Chico does.

I have a soda stream I was gifted used from my aunt, and I like my tap water so I should give that a go.

  • It's almost like the diseases aren't bad specifically because we have vaccines.

These dumbfucks don't see the danger because we spent so much time, effort, and money to make them not so bad. I'm sure there is a name for this phenomenon. Idiocy, maybe?

  • In all my partners, it's always been different. Some liked it when I was rough and threw them around. Others really enjoyed being eaten out. Almost all enjoyed fingering as foreplay. Some really, really enjoyed having their boobs played with. Another one wanted me to get angry and fuck her even when she said stop (she got really annoyed when I would listen to her and actually stop, but we were young and didn't know what consensual non-consensual was, she didn't tell me ahead of time, and we didn't set up a safe word or establish the red-yellow-green system.)

The woman I am with now, really gets off from praise. She loves it when I encourage her to do what feels good for her, when I remind her how sexy she is, when I tell her how much of a good girl she is, and when I tell her I love her.

If you want a simple answer, the best I can say is to talk to the woman and find out what she enjoys and try that. Just remember that just because she enjoyed something with a precious partner doesn't mean she will enjoy it with you. Sometimes you'll meet a woman who doesn't know what she likes. So try different things, encourage her to share any ideas or fantasies and try them. She might think something is sexy in her fantasy and find out it doesn't live up to what she's thinking.

Oh! And it can change from sexy-time to sexy-time. So pay attention to how she reacts and do what she enjoys that day.

  • So, it's not like these are part of any curriculum. No one is making, suggesting, recommending, or encouraging kids to read these books. So the ban is just simply censorship. (Except the list of banned books is sort of a recommendation in its own way.)

No matter what they say, this isn't about kids in any way. It's not about protecting them from things they aren't mature enough for. It's not restricting them to a certain grade level. It's outright censorship and it's fucking bullshit.

  • As a show goes that loves to vibe towards the back, I encourage you to go.

Shows are great. You don't need to fight crowds, be up front, or dance if you don't want to. I prefer small shows, usually at bars. But even large stadium shows have an energy that's hard to describe.

  • I just moved back to the Chicago land area after being away for 20 years. These places sound like my exact vibe and the sort of places I've been searching for.

Do you have any other recommendations?

  • Have you looked at the Nintendo store? It's got tons of old games in there for the switch from various old consoles.

Playstation often has old games in its store, over half the psx library was for sale on the PSP and ps Vita.

  • One thing I haven't seen mentioned is that so many places don't adjust the volume properly to the amount of people in the place. If I go to a sports bar near me for happy hour, they have the music the same volume as when a big game is on and the place is packed.

  • We have regulations because, spoiler, things used to be unregulated and they fucked up enough people demanded the government set some fucking rules.

The regulations weren't in the founding documents of the country. They came to be as the industries started exploiting and killing people.

  • Not just that, they is an underlying racist bias to that. That Asian made products from overseas are cheap because they care less or have less pride in their work than American made. They think that we as Americans for some reason have a greater baseline pride that permeates through everything made here.

  • It's crazy, because I know a lot of those bands aren't together anymore. They never made it and are effectively forgotten to the internet. I feel like a custodian of music history. If I didn't put them online, they'd have disappeared entirely.

  • I stole some beers at a party once. A friend and I weren't feeling the vibe, took a few bottles and went somewhere else. I feel bad about it, he was a good dude and didn't deserve that.

I got trashed at my 23rd birthday party a friend threw at her house. It was mostly people she knew, but as I was passed out someone stole my wallet.

My brother stole quite a bit from me during the height of his addiction. He's been clean for several years now though. I'm glad I've got him back.

  • I had to fix my ratio on redacted. I found I had so many CDs of random local bands that were handed out at shows that weren't online. It was weird to basically be the only person that had some music online.
