  • It will be appealed, that's guaranteed. Whether there's anything to appeal, sure. Every DA's office screws up. Let's hope they're on this one.

  • It's an older meme, sir, but it checks out. I was just about to upvote it.

  • yawn Oh . . uh, shocked! Yes, shocked we are that the government will shut down due to republiQan malcompetence YET AGAIN. The party that hates government was elected to government and is now shutting down government.

I mean, on one hand, the system works! On the other hand, the only way we're in this scenario for the 50th time is that corporate news has utterly failed at every level. Uh, also shocking.

  • Right now it’s all the rage to threaten not voting for Biden because of his handling of the Israel/Hamas conflict.

So I keep reading on the interwebs.

  • Clearly the man has suffered serious traumas. He's a friggin' eagles fan fercrissakes. That can't be good.

  • Wow I haven't used windows in over eight years? Nice. Mmmmm yeah. That's the stuff.

  • Why not? Uh, No. That's why. Not now, not the 100th time, not ever. I want it to stop asking. No.

  • It's just outrageous that we're in 202-almost-4 and mail is still in use the way it is.

Seriously, the fix has been available for almost 30 years, no one has been able - or willing - to popularize it. Hmmm.

  • I just can't agree that the man is actively reasoning out anything at all, which would underlie the premise of the article. He's on a constant improv stream of malignant narcissism that is woefully demented and he's a hugely damaged person to start with.

"Trump says" with the implication that he's thought something through is just never true. It may have been something he saw on tv that someone else thought through - it may be the random final words of whoever he just talked to - but it wasn't something he came up with, y'know, intentionally.

We know this. Let's stop pretending. Let's not give him any credit where we know he doesn't deserve any.

  • I love open source too, but this:

i know the privacy concernes they may have, but they would never do anything bad to you.

Is just super problematic. I appreciate the enthusiasm for open source, but google is a monopoly actively involved in making the internet worse in order to profit from it. They do this by leveraging your personal information, and that's bad.

  • YES! The one main hurdle I've found (and the constant "share your contacts??" prompting). Good luck to them!

  • You're not wrong, you're just focused on ancient bandits. Which is cool. They suck.

  • Totally agree, but with the caveat that if you have to support this user anwyay, bite the bullet and switch to Apple - at least they can still run Office and pretend it's windows while still benefitting from simply restarting everything as a fix.

  • Becoming the sole family admin is an inevitability. Unless your family are all people who read manuals, and they're not, you are the sole family admin already and probably don't know it.
