The only serious one i experienced happened in the morning; i was 13; i woke up and saw the fucking chandelier swinging; i started panickng, got my sister in my arms (5y), and started screaming for my dad an mum to get out (dad had already woken up because he felt something, but their bedroom only had floor lights) ; we were on the second floor, by the time we went down the roof had collapsed but the ceiling had held up fine ( only the half-rotten wooden frame broke, everything else held).
I still have nightmares of waking up and seeing that chandelier swinging hard side to side.
Yes, start small, lift the plastic door off the hinges; then slowly go for the bigger stuff; hit the gym as swell to make it a little easier on yourself. Eventually you'll be able to lift that whole ass target.
At home we basically make this observation everytime we eat artichokes; how the fuck did people discover that this spiky flower from this plant full of spines had the base of each petal commestible?
Because it's a fun hobby to build systems capable of doing that and seeing just how loud you can get them, granted my group is the only one in town that only uses them deep in agricultural fields so we dont burst people's eardrums.
Regarding people that use them in cities, especially at night, i am absolutely with you.
You may be able to use key mapper to remap the heaphone key to a null action; but i'm not sure if it's possible, and even if it does the app warns that bindings only work while the screen is on due to android limitations.
I don't know how k8s works; but if there is a way to execute just one command in a container and then exit out of it like chroot; wouldn't it be possible to just use xargs with a list of the container names?
In general if you can get a respirator or at least an n95 mask if you still have them from covid(apparently that doesnt work); also make tries on an old book before going on the good one, at least if you mess up it isn't another hole punched in your wallet
Or if you know what you are doing electrically speaking pull the thermostat off the wall and connect the cooling/heating line to common for a bit;
I think it would actually be less effort
"Billy is that you?"
