  • We couldn't talk about real digital piracy anymore after seeing so many subs that were acceptable early in Reddit's lifespan get taken down, some deserved, some not.

Having our own server based sub is extremely beneficial and this particular community was lucky that this event occurred. If anyone would like to talk about PC Gaming in a piracy friendly environment, checkout !pcgaming@lemmy.fmhy.ml

  • It's been very common in my 3 weeks on Lemmy, it's probably more common to see 100% upvotes.

  • Relay is my top preference.

  • Today's c/Melbourne daily thread has 2.3x as many comments as r/Melbourne.

  • Honestly, we're probably not going to officially get it, especially after our government sued Valve multiple times over consumer rights, the reason behind the 2hr refund window.

  • I wish the Steam Deck was available in Australia, especially at the current discount.

  • I think I've made more posts/comments in the last fortnight, than the last year on Reddit.

I've been posting interesting articles to nearly half a dozen communities each per day, even if nobody is responding.

I believe it's worth it to have this activity for those who pass by and see how many people showed up to the party before them.

  • Currently I'm still playing Divinity Original Sin 2, while doing dailies in Elder Scrolls Online.

If you ever choose to get into ESO, It can be very cheap to wait for a Collection on sale, I got ESO High Isle Collection for less than $20 on Steam. Base game + 6 DLC's, I have been playing for months without buying the subscription. The main limitation is carry capacity, but I already have 200 inventory space + 240 bank space.

  • There must have been some greater connection between the two projects.

  • Did anyone else recognise the main character in Mad Men

  • I don't know if it's related, but I've heard Beehaw has been very restrictive from other instances in their allowed federations.

However it's likely just saying pending, which is subscribed without the confirmation.

  • F.E.A.R. is my top mention, 18 years old and it still feels somewhat modern, Mirror's Edge as another game that looks like it could have come out this year as an AA tier game.

  • We don't yet have a way to natively cross-post, so I entered the source post from @Kerred@lemmy.ml in the body. the original post can be found here

  • A landscape screenshot, I like how quiet it feels;

  • Good quality for the lower size, which is still important to a lot of non westerners, but they also don't look great on our 70'+ screens.

I've found P2P as viable and have switched to Usenet.

  • I've heard a number of people interpret it about themselves, which is really good, the allegory was understandable while still being a cohesive story.
