I would mostly agree. The magic of video games and the virtual worlds was bridged to the real world by sharing them with friends. I can totally see that!
I guess "modern" gaming works best when playing online with friends (not every game allows that of course), and wind down type of games. Self care gaming ๐.
I had some great moments though screensharing my game on discord while being able to watch what my friend was playing on their screenshare. There is something - even though that it is not exactly what you were hinting at, as obviously you can't directly influence the game that the other is playing - but it is a shared experience in some way that makes it feel connected and special.
Just wanted to leave some appreciation here. I like that the blog post is so concise but still nicely follow able.
Also it seems to prove the loading times quite a bit even though the solution is somewhat rudimentary. Love the spirit ๐
๐ I actually think that is a fair point you make. I am waiting patiently for a full version that I can install on a living room pc. So for me there is also no immediate benefit, yet, as you put it.
I still see the development very positively!
For now not that spectacular, it's the base for upcoming tests. Nice to see though and hopefully we can see Linux based benchmarks more commonly in the future
Yes! Was really hyped the last few leclerc turns when I realized he delivers the lap. For current Ferrari form I still count it as a win ๐
Curious how the 2 stops tomorrow will play out
It's a good article, worth a click. I was not aware that the decision regarding land and aloscar being allowed to fight for points was so clearly communicated and also seems like the mentality is quite shared between the two in this regard. Thanks for sharing ๐
Hm, I did not see the video, but I think if I'd pay for a product and get a weaker quality than 1. I paid for and 2. possible on my machine - I would be hesitant to accept a reasoning that has nothing to do with my usage of the service.
Is the potential piracy (that happens anyway) outweighing the bad customer experience?
What I mean to say is, if I pay for my product, and have capable hardware - I think from the customer perspective I am in a position to complain if I don't get the quality I paid for.

That post gave me food for thought.
