  • I am not from Quebec and would like to hear from Quebecois actually how they feel. What I see and hear is that the Quebecois are very concerned about the threat from the USA as well and actually moved closer to the rest of Canada recently. The Bloc seemed to have missed the current situation and interests of their people completely here. Or am I completely wrong here?

  • The longer she stays, the more crap she does and says, the harder for people to justify this nutcase. And the US threats have even hardcore conservatives’ neck hair up. They don’t trust her not to sell us out. I believe a very, VERY small group actually wants to join the US.

  • Do you look at income, rent etc in these countries then? I know several European countries where groceries are indeed cheaper but you need to compare how much they earn there and their rent or mortgage. Let alone FX

  • I found both. Some items are more expensive, others are actually cheaper. Buying produce and veg in season is key. Bulk if you can. Watch for sales especially with clothing and anything that is household items (TP, shampoo etc.). Not buying American is the first goal. Canadian is the next. Lots of cheaper stuff can be had by non-USA products. Shopping is a skill like everything else. I am sure they all are ok with paying Starbucks drink 2x a day

  • I did mine about 7 years ago and I didn’t find it easy or quick. It took two full days of proper (theoretical and handling guns - no shooting) training and the tests were not easy. Maybe there is difference where or who puts them on but my brain was smoking lol. I passed with flying colours, so did my friend (we were both the only females). We were the two with the highest scores in the room. Several didn’t pass! I am a bit fuzzy on the number but I would say 7ish out of 40ish?! One was there for the second time and didn’t pass. The other one had tried several times before and never passed. The instructors were talking between them after they failed and left and I overheard.

Absolutely agree that criminals don’t care about gun safety and the proper paperwork. Neither for themselves nor for the guns.
