  • I tried it, it is not the same. It seems to use the sidebar, and this popup thing hovers over the site instead of reducing the browser display area.

There is a Zen Mod to auto hide and show that popup, I fiddled around with it today and it was pretty amazing.

But also a bit broken, the popup didnt display anymore, the tab workspaces work really well but I can't remove the weird duplicate icon at the bottom.

Overall way better than FF though, WAY better. If I can fix those 2 things I will absolutely switch, this is next level

  • I have no idea. I got a new router that is made for these networks and will try to use it with double NAT

  • Damn. Probably because they have their own tab implementation right?

  • Zen allows sidebar and tabs on other side?

The simpler proposal would not make Sidebery work, because it is a sidebar popup and thus either that or the other things display.

So that would need 2 real sidebars

  • Weird, still not published then. I can see it, which was not possible at first either so I assumed that it was online.

Anyways will post again in a day or so

  • Lol

Btw the issue was fixed upstream, Arch and Fedora have updates

  • Tried to debug a flatpak

downloads 6GB of devel stuff, tries to open a file in gdb, cries

Finds out it is a kernel bug.

Tries to get debug logs, even though that stuff is disabled "fOr sEcUrItY hArDeNinG"

    (Kernel 6.13 is a mess)

There are tons of meditation timers on F-Droid, and the app SoundAura is great if you want to have different background noises

  • Lol F-Droid never archives abandonware.

Like of course they do, but only if it is multiple years outdated

  • Okay mounting a directory for configs makes sense

  • I also dont get how to update docker containers and where to save config files. The idea is that the containers are stateless so they can be recreated whenever you like.

But there are no automatic updates?? You need a random "watchtower" container that does that.

Also, they are supposed to give easy security, buf NGINX runs as root? There is a rootless variant

  • Yeah that would be tails and it is an entire distro lol not just a browser

    Not especially secure though
